One of my favorite brunch places in the Stony Brook area. Love their potatoes and half order of French toast. Seems like they changed their decor--if I remember correctly, it used to have old fashioned hats, and now the theme seems more time-travel related, but still has the old time feel. They have a rotation of special coffees which is always fun.
Isabella was my waitress at the Brownstones of Centereach today, 08/11. I was part of a table of 8. Isabella was so accommodating to all of us and especially to me, with my diet restrictions (vegan & gluten free). She was also so sweet & personable and at the same time, still very professional! Our meals came, with little wait time, just the way we had ordered them and delicious, as always! Isabella visited our table multiple times to check on our meals & to see if we needed anything else. Isabella is a wonderful waitrss, who I'd give 6 stars to if I could, and Brownstones of Centereach will not disappoint...the food is always fresh & delicious!
Love the French toast bites! My latte was so good I got another to go. Definitely would come back if I was ever in that part of New York again!
I really love this place.... The food is always done just rights, staff is very attentive and efficient. The mocha latte is the most amazing I've ever had with its fresh whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate on top at only $5.00 they are a steal. No matter what you order you will definitely not be disappointed.
I love this restaurant but on the weekends is so good that is jam packed with people this has to be top 5 breakfast I've ever had outside of my own home. The eggs were amazing the home fries were well done and so flavorful avocado was sliced to perfection ambiance a lot of tables were occupied Food 7/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5
I love coming to Brownstones. The service is always good and the interior is so cute! I love the the brick design and the old fashioned window pictures. It feels like I'm taking a step back in time to an old fashioned station. The Fresh Fruit Waffle is my go to, and I always add Oreos for a little extra sweetness. My friend ordered the Avocado BLT Benedict and loved it as well. We both enjoyed their potatoes as our sides.
Great food, bright , airy dining room, good, Friendly service.. I had one of the eggs Benedict dishes and my daughter had the same dish but in a bowl format. It was very good You should go.
Had a delish breakfast! I've been to the other locations and was in the area to try this location. Yummy as always! To start I had the seasonal maple latte and my boyfriend had a mocha. Very good! For our breakfast my boyfriend chose the Bananas Foster Pancakes with a side of corned beef hash and I went with Cinnamon Raisin Stuffed French Toast with a side of bacon. We both thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast! Service by Bryan was exceptional! He was attentive and very friendly. 5 stars all the way!
